EVEPL (Educomp Vocational Education Pvt Ltd) is a pioneering 50:50 initiative from Educomp Solutions Ltd and Pearson Education to address the burgeoning skill gap in India. Founded on a multi-dimensional approach towards bridging the obvious as well as latent skill gaps, EVEPL seeks to create a talent pipeline for various industries by running educational courses customized to the skill and competency requirement that will enable a large number of youth to upgrade skills, specific to various sectors and find assured employment in the fast growing economy. EVEPL will also design, deploy and integrate employability linked courseware in regular curriculum of graduate and post graduate courses in colleges and Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) across cities.
Currently Educomp Vocational Initiatives are essentially structured under three key peripherals: ETEN CA (Technology-enabled Coaching for CA aspirants), Purple Leap and Other Projects. Other Projects include a wide spectrum of services and solutions like Spoken English Language Training with IGNOU; Government Projects; and initiatives in Banking, Financial Services & Insurance. The government projects are with the central and state government agencies like UP MORD, DEGT Punjab, GKS & GIDC Gujarat, RMOL & RKCL Rajasthan to name a few.
EVEPL is closely working with corporate to understand their work skill requirements and develop the required talent pool. It has advanced skill development and talent supply activities for various industries in Banking Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI), Retail, Hospitality, Automobile IT/ITES and Healthcare.
